About Enrolled Agents

Not all tax practitioners are created equal. Enrolled Agents, like attorneys and CPA's, have unlimited representation and practice rights before the IRS. Enrolled Agents (EA) are federally authorized tax practitioners with technical expertise in the field of taxation. EA's are authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent any taxpayer in unlimited areas of tax practice before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service. It is in your best interest to hire a tax practitioner who is able to represent you in case of examinations, appeals, and collections, areas in which an unenrolled tax preparer has very limited authorization in.

EA's are subject to rules of practice under Circular 230, which hold them to highest standards of ethics and professionalism. EA's also must complete a number of Continuing Professional Education Credits (CPE) each year, to ensure adept knowledge of tax law changes. I use this knowledge to empower you in your day to day activities.
